The fact that I'm out of the High School from Hell, far far away from the people that have hurt me during HSfH, that I got into the school of my dreams with excellent results, that I found a home with two other nice {and hot -that's always a plus} women and that things are totally, absolutely, definitely looking up. ^^

I LOVE that the holidays are over! I know! I know! What a grinch! From Thanksgiving to Christmas then the New Year I try to avoid as much social contact with other humans. I don't like being asked what I'm doing for the holidays, or what I did for the holidays. So again I love that it's all over...for now anyways.

Seeing my family after months, getting hugs from kids I haven't seen in ages, and having a two year old I haven't seen in 4 months greet me by name.

I love my job. Mainly because it doesn't really feel like work. For 17 years I worked for a gigantic corporation and my soul goal was climbing 'the ladder.' Then I realized how much life I was missing and did what I always wanted to do. I quit. I went into photography full time, opened my own studio and now everyday is like playtime:) This morning I'm photographing a 3 week old baby...what's better than hanging out a sweet little baby?

There are so many things . . .

Spending time with my son, James who is funny and wonderful and kind. Trading quips and laughing together; it's so good! Then writing a part of my story and having it make me cry and him coming out of his room to give me a hug.

Also, the Christmas Tree is so beautiful and magic. Love looking at it and smelling fresh pine through the house.

Also writing. I've never written a longer story in my life and it's possible because of the Kittenboard and being encouraged every step of the way by incredibly wonderful people.

Yesterday I took my bff, her twin and my wife to lunch at Hubble and Hudson Kitchen for their birthday's. OMG...awesome! Besides a pretty terrific kitchen, they have lot's of organic foods, wine and speciality items you can't find anywhere else.

So what did I love the most? These dark chocolate toffee waffer-y cookie things! Screw the salad bar! lol
