Mrs. Foo, those pics are wonderful! Looks like you had a lovely ceremony. My wife and I drove up to Vermont and had a quickie ceremony, no family, just a Justice of the Peace. My mother threw us a nice reception/party a few days later. Still, I kinda wish we'd done the whole traditional thing, white dresses and all. Btw, I love the "me and my bitches" pic, and the Converses. Thanks for sharing!

Mrs. Foo would have liked to have just a simple ceremony in the backyard with close friends and family, but I wanted the big shebang with everybody there. In the end it was a small and intimate affair (60 people), and the best day of our lives. I specifically requested the 'me and my bitches' pic, and those Converses were the best decision we ever made. I can't imagine going through the day in heels!

And if anyone is interested, I've updated our website to include some pictures from the reception and a honeymoon journal from our trip to Hawaii. The reception photos aren't the best; they're from the cheapo disposable cameras we had on the tables, but fun to look at none the less. Enjoy!

Wow. A belated congratulations to both Mrs. and Mrs. Foo! You guys look beautiful and really happy together! Those stunning white dresses and the Converse pic is just... *gulp* awesome! I'm sitting here, looking at all those wonderful photo's while mumbling to myself how adorable y'all are, heehee. And that stems mostly from the reception pictures which were taken from the, as you say, cheapo disposable cameras . It just looks like you are having so much fun and I guess that's one of the best things you should remember from your wedding day, spending it with friends and family, having a great time. Nothing more (okay, maybe a little more ) , but certainly nothing less.

It seems like, living in a country where same-sex marriage is fully recognized by law, I've kinda grown accustomed to it, by which I mean that I don't really have to worry about it in the future myself. I don't know if I'm gonna marry (yet I have to say those pics woke up the girlygirl in me who wants such a wedding too), but at least I have the option (as I should, it's a human right!). It's sad that that's still not the case in most parts of the world, but we're getting there!

Having browsed around on your site for a bit (ack, I almost forgot to mention the honeymoon journal/photo's, those rocked too!), I feel like you guys are kinda like the real w/t, or better yet, another example of how amazing love, ALL love is. Phew and I didn't mean to type all that as a reply to some lovely wedding photo's, but I think you get my drift .

Thanks for sharing a little bit of your life with us Kittens! It made me smile.

The missus and I thank you for your comments! That's great that same-sex marriage is fully recognized in your country. Though not a marriage, our domestic partnership gives us many rights that married couples have, and that's a start. At least in California.
