My favorite nickname is one only one of my friend gives me, and it works only with her anyway. But it means a lot to both of us. It is "Babucka". It is Russian, unfortunately I can't find the russian alphabet right now, anyway, it means Grand Mother. I have always had this role for her, and so it means a lot to us. I'm her babucka, and she is my vnucka.

What is your favorite cocktail (with or without alcohol)

I'm a fan of the Grahamtini. It's a drink my friends and I made up last year. You take the red Vitamin water, dragonfruit I think, and just add vodka. It turns a nice pretty pink. Pretty boys named Graham tend to enjoy it a little too much... hence the name

Can you still call it a cocktail without alcohol? Just curious.

I don't drink many cocktails anymore, but I used to be rather found of the Bombay Sapphire Martini with double-olives.

What kind of vehicle do you drive (when you're not drinking martinis, of course)?

As long as it is a mix of things, it is a cocktail Alcohol or not

What's the most drunk you've ever been?

At a friend's birthday party. I came late and decided to catch up (4 shots of tequila in 20 minutes). Spent the rest of the party at the kitchen sink. I was there so long someone actually left a chair for me to sit on. After that a friend walked me home and had me count all the steps. It made the world stop spinning.


What is your favorite restaurant, and what is your favorite dish at said restaurant?

My favorite restaurant is probably Mongolian Grille. Favorite dish? Well, it's stir fry so it's never the same. I put in cabbage, broccoli, onion, tomatoes, celery, pineapple, tofu, maybe green beans, then on top assorted sauces to make it both hot and sweet. And rice. Mmm.

What's your least favorite food that you end up eating anyway either because people put it in stuff or because friends like the restaurant or whatever?

What's the farthest you've ever been from home?

The concept of "home" is kind of an anomaly for me. I grew up a military brat, so home was pretty much where my family is. So, technically, the furthest I've been from my "home" is Japan, when my family went back to the States for emergency leave. I couldn't join them because I had school.


What was your high school mascot?

How did you decide on your board ID?

It just sort of came to me, really. I love the song, and as I was thinking to myself, 'what sort of name shall I choose for the kittenboard, to read fanfic with and share my own work?', it just sort of clicked - 'my... work... I'm a woman... ah-ha! I have it!'

How did you find the board in the first place?

My partner was writing a paper on gays in the media, and left some of her research near the computer. What caught my eye was a timeline of gays on TV, and a picture of Willow. I thought to myself, "Willow's gay?!" I stopped watching Buffy after the second season, but immediately became obsessed, renting all the seasons, especially season four. I related so much to Willow and Tara, because I was in college when I finally figured out that the reason I had an "intense" relationship with my best friend was because I was in love with her. Either way, that led to many late nights of googling, and I landed at the Kittenboard. (Oh, and said best friend is now said partner.)


Ever encounter a celebrity and go all fangirl (ie flattery, asking for pictures, etc)?

Not yet, but we'll see how I fare at the Lovers, Liars and Lunatics screening in May. I fear for my dignity.

Do you ever use internet-isms in real life parlance - saying 'lol' or 'omg', for instance?

Never. Unless I'm deliberately mocking the stereotype.

What do you do that you know is not at all good for you but you do it anyway?

PROCRASTINATE. I find that if I need to get something done, I can't focus until I know I'm absolutely almost out of time. Like now. I'm trying to finish a project for Monday, but here I am, posting on the board. Finish mode will kick in at about 9:00 PM Sunday night.

Erm... I borrowed the first season of Degrassi Junior High at the library today, and have watched 5 so far... loving it. So I'd have to go with that.

I make questions here for three reasons:
either
1. I'm mostly posting back-and-forth with one person and I'm interested in what their answer will be specifically
2. I know that my answer to the question would be something interesting that I'd enjoy talking about, so it's probably an interesting question
or
3. I just couldn't think of anything interesting so I just fumbled the first question that came to mind.

so many...moobey, its a word me and my friend made up, it means man boobs. lol. Pretty weird yeah, but we use it all the time.

I have a tattoo on my right arm. It says that a certain person loves me. Fortunately, it's not in a script people can read (they say never to get anyone's name tattooed on you, but I figured after 13 years it was pretty much a safe bet... go figure.)
