That’s a good question Gorn. When I was younger I was more confident about everything, new situations were exciting and a challenge, something to embraced for the experience alone and approached without the fear of failure. It may have been that I was the rebellious type when younger, I don’t know. I’m not even sure when or how I lost this ability, but life’s responsibilities do temper the gung-ho spirit in us all. Now, I’m in my mid-forties, and there is a little part of me that misses the person I used to be. I now find myself evaluating situations differently and the decisions I make now are more considered and less based on ‘what will I get from this’ and more of a ‘how will it affect me’ kind of thing.
Has there been a point in your life were you had a major decision to make? If you could go back to that point in time, would you make the same decision?
