This will seem weird to most people, in fact it seems weird even to me, but I honestly can't remember *not* knowing about sex. I'm fairly certain my parents never sat down and talked to me about it, but knowing them I wouldn't be surprised if it was just casually mentioned... also, my tv watching was never very limited or censored. I remember watching soap operas with my mom when I was around 5 or 6 that had a lot to do with sex but nothing specific, and I know by the time I saw The Red Violin with my mom when I was 7 or 8 I understood what was going on in the sex scene. I just don't remember how I came by the knowledge of what sex was...
How did your parents approach awkward or uncomfortable subjects, like sex or puberty or death or something similar, with you as a child?
