After many prompting from my best friend, and after finding this book in a lost recess of a small library, "Interview with a vampire", Anne Rice. And next on my list The wizard of Oz.

I actually like the second book: The Vampire Lestat better than the first.

I'm on the 5th book of HP: The Order of the PHoenix. It's my least favorite but I'm rereading the entire series.

On the insistance of my Mother and cousin I'm reading; "the curious incident of the dog in the night-time" By Mark Hadden. It's a really good book.

For the last couple of days I've been reading articles on the origin of the Juvenile Court so I could finish my paper. It's actually been kinda interesting.

I just finished the 4th 39 clues book. Now I'm back to Alice in Wonderland. I'm embarrassed to say I've gotten this far (2 chapters or so) a number of times and always been bored to tears. But I want to make it through it.

S'ok, Deb, I can't get through it either. It's not just you.

Oh, Alcy, 'Shadow of the Wind' was an amazing, amazing book. I plan on picking up The Angel's Game soon. It was just released, so I assume it's a prequel to SotW?

Hiya,
yep, The angel's game is the prequel although I didn't realise it was until I had started reading it. The library's copies of SotW were all out so I just read it first. Had to go out and buy my own copy of SotW, I couldn't wait that long for it to be available at the library.

I hope it writes more soon...I wish I could speak Spanish, then I could read his books as they were written.

The Looking Glass Wars - Frank Beddor

In The Serpent's Coils - Tiffany Trent

Foundation - Isaac Asimov

Mythology - Edith Hamilton

Crispin (Cross of Lead) - Avi

Valiant - Holly Black

Faerie Wars - Herbie Brennan

May Bird (And the Ever After) - Jodi Lynn Anderson

That's my list of books, of course there's more I'm reading (at the same time) but I don't see any of them strewn across my room. I've read the whole HP series, as well as tons of others (never in order, though. The day I do that the skies will turn orange and the Earth will rotate backwards).

Just finished 'The Little Stranger' by Sarah Waters (author of Tipping the Velvet, Fingersmith etc) - even with no lesbian characters in this particular book, she is worth reading for her fantastic storytelling.

I hope she puts some gay characters in her next book because she's definitely one of the best lesbian authors out there. There just isn't enough quality lesbian fiction...except for the stories on DCP of course!

Reading the Final Empire trilogy by Brandon Sanderson. Just finished book 1 and am about a third of the way into The Well of Ascension, the second book.

I've only just found out that he's the guy Robert Jordan's estate chose to finish the Wheel of Time series. I started reading those, not realising just how verbose the guy was. And now Sanderson is turning the last book into 3...oh well, good thing I like long books and reading lots.
