oh oh I have one! relating to DVDs and/or CDs...

I love my dear partner, but she tends to take out CDs and leave them sitting around. Or when she puts a new CD into the player, she takes the other CD out and puts it into the case of the new CD. Meaning, if this goes on for a while, I end up having to painstakingly sort CDs and make sure they are in their correct cases. Otherwise I can't find the music I want.

... and then there's the fact that the CDs have never been in their proper alphabetical/genre order in the cabinet since this relationship began 5 years ago.

... and then there's the toilet paper - she can never put it on the roll so that the tp faces outward.

It just occurs to me that I'm very neurotic about these things. Maybe there should be a neurosis thread.

Perhaps I've said this one before. When people step onto the elevator before everyone steps out. It's kind of pure logic that the people on need to step out to make space.

when people mispronounce or misuse a word so often that it falls into common practice and is considered and alternate pronunciation...and misspellings that become common usage as well (i.e. - hearty/hardy and congratulations/congradulations)

also typos and mispronunciations in the news media...I know those people have proofreaders

people who have overblown far out of proportion reactions to situations...drama queens!

(ie - my mother shouting "Oh God!" in a tone that would be more appropriate if the dog was perhaps eating an infant or something when all she had done is nudged a potted plant a little closer to the edge of a table)

People that use the word gay to say something is bad that really P****s me off!

Also when people make no effort at anything.Grr.

And when people get overly protective on the internet! Jeez its just some pixels on a screen! If it really bothers people that much then they need to get a new hobby :crazy

people who call in for help, but then won't listen and just keep interrupting me! why did you call in the first place if you're not going to listen?!

When we buy something that has to be built and my father starts early like seven am {on a sunday, meaning I sleep til ten} and then wakes me up because he's not able to set that up. damnit if you know you need my help wait for me! better, go do something useful while I set up whatever needs to, alone, so we don't waste time!! above all if just the day before we went to the mall and I had a major nervousness. :fit

I have two new ones - both about my wife.

First, whenever she washes her hands, she flights them to shake off the drops of water. I don't mind that at all. But if I'm standing at the sink washing dishes and she leans in to wash her hands, I think it's completely rude to shake her water all over me! I mean, hello! Standing right here?

Second, she has started telling Ash not to jump on "my bed" or touch "my microwave" or whatever. It has started in the last few weeks and I know she's trying to get him to respect property and especially property that isn't his but I always thought the bed was the family's bed or at least both of our bed. I never knew it was her bed. I pointed it out to her and she looked at me like I was speaking Gaelic or something. Then an hour later she did it and she turned and said, "Oh God. I really do that." So hopefully she's aware now.

During chorus lesson
Teacher: You do the gaps too small, like Indians
Me : I AM indian you know
Teacher: really? I wouldn't have said that. You don't look like one
Me: I know, it's coz the zone where I come from has Chinese roots too
Teacher: really? But you don't have both parents indian.
Me: Yes, both indians
Teacher: Seriously? I really wouldn't have thought

Who are you, the freakin Indian expert? It's not that I'm mistaken on my roots, plus hello if you don't know something or you 'wouldn't have thought' somehing it doesn't mean that it's not true.
I hate it when people do that.
'You don't look like one'
Thanks I guess, but I am, so don't try and convince me I'm some freakin animal spawn only because I 'don't look like an Indian'
