crowds get me super annoyed. Especially when people walk REALLY slow and your in a cramped area. And there's enough space where you try to pass them but not enough to actually succeed. Then it just gets really awkward. Also I can't stand kids that walk looking away and walk right into your legs, then you have to end up dodging away so you don't hit them.
Willow: We can come by between classes. Usually I use that time to copy over my class notes with a system of different colored pens. But it's been pointed out to me that that's, you know... insane.

Tara: I said quirky.

People reading over my sholder. It's like GAH go away I'm trying to read here!. :rage Also, people who write entire stories in chatspeak or somesuch and then bitch and moan when nobody reads their stupid story.

ETA: Also people looking over my sholder while I'm cooking, that's even worse than when I'm reading!

There are very little things that frustrate me beyond belief.
And they all happened today, in exactly 4 hours.
1- my mother asking me to hurry because it's early and she doesn't have patience this early

2- forgetting at home the only music books I really needed while loading my bag with the ones that I didn't need, all because I was hurried

3- forgetting altogether the Math books I needed because it's early and I'm not yet awake, so I can't hurry and think at the same time

4- remembering I forgot the books halfway to where I need them

5- trying to put make-up in the car cuz it's late, and miserabily failing cuz mother drives like hell since it's late

6- trying to focus and trying to write the answer for the quiz for the driving exam in the train, and miserabily failing cos freakin' train seems to have soap under it and abruptly moves this way and that way

7- after two hours and half of music lesson, head back and run like hell since the bus to get in town has started to move

8- yelling 'coming through' and yet being blocked by people in your way

9- seeing the bus go away just three meters away, all because of those damn people who didn't let you pass

Writing tons of indepth feedback on DCP fics and when I post one with an updated of >20,000 words. I get two feedbacks. I know I should appreciate any I get and I do. I just wish for more.

Lack of spell check, bad grammar, and non-existent punctuation. When did proper writing stop counting? It's called a period. Use it every once and a while.

Drivers who race forward to cut you off when you are signalling something vital like the need to get off the freeway, then just continue on their way when they could have just relaxed and let you exit.

When I sign in to the online banking and it's like "do you want to try..." whatever for 2 weeks?

I already know that thing exists! Whatever it is! If I wanted it, I would fucking sign up. I don't want it so why don't you take me straight to my accounts page as I've set in my preferences when I signed up for online banking. Why are you suggestive selling your banking customers?

Meetings that are SOOOOO badly put together that you think you've entered the wrong door and found yourself in Dante's Inferno - Excruciating, boring CRAP that has no relationship to an effective outcome with a problem solved or a task completed!

On the positive side, an eternal meeting sometimes causes me to grapple with the profound questions of life or death! :lmao

Not all my meetings are like that, but enough are! Grrrr Arrrrgh!

I've been working on my conversational skills lately, since I'm trying to get out, be social, and make new friends. I've been reading up on different pitfalls in conversation, and how to avoid them. Though I had read about them, yesterday I got to witness the full effect of.......

conversational narcissists. :happy

Nothing like spending an hour in conversation with someone only to have them talk AT you instead of WITH you. They only acknowledge your statements in passing and really only as a way to shift the conversation back to themselves. These are also the same people that, when you finally are contributing your thoughts and stories, fail to give you support cues (i.e. "uh huh" "yeah" "i see") etc., essentially making you feel that no one is listening and you should probably just pipe down so they can talk again. :gnome There is no mutual give and take in these conversations. It's incredibly frustrating and really makes me want to spend less time with that person. I want my hour back, damn it.

little.hesperides, and domineering conversationalists:

Been there, girlfriend, believe me! I love to talk, no doubt, but I also love to listen. When I listen I comment, ask for clarification, and provide response. As a result, people LOVE to talk to me and I get plenty of conversational masturbation as a result - actually your term, "conversational narcissism" is much more polite! I once put my hand on someone's wrist and said, "Let's try a dialogue." They didn't know what I was talking about! Anyway, I share your pain and admire you for working on building conversational skills. Well worth the time and effort - thanks again for sharing!

My pet peeve: People who cannot make their cues on time! I get truly ferocious stage fright and fight my way through it for every show. Then someone is not there and I'm trying to figure out how the person ahead of me will respond to their absence AND I'm trying to guess how the person giving MY cue is going to re-write their dialogue since a key person is missing. Plus it's a kid and the kid's grandfather brings him but takes NO RESPONSIBILITY for getting his grandson to the show on time. Moving on to next pet peeve: 7 or 8 year old kids (as well as various other ages) should NOT be allowed to run wild without supervision. There are safe environments where kids can explore on their own, but the streets of Old Sacramento, swarming with crowds, is NOT that place!

Whew! Thank s for listening - I need to say that!
