I'll start:
My dad called this evening and after a few rounds of him getting my voice mail, my getting his voice mail, etc. he told me that he had a pacemaker put in today and he was calling from the hospital. Basically he blacked out a few weeks ago. Since then the doctor has been running tests and saying that everything looked fine (my father is in fantastic shape given that he's 71 years old). Then today the nurse called and said we need you to come get a pacemaker. He said, when? She said, now. Seriously. Now. He had to cancel some appointments and head to the hospital. He was pretty groggy by the time I finally spoke to him. He says he will probably get to go home tomorrow.
I'd appreciate any prayers or good thoughts (you don't have to post here but you can). My father's name is Paul.
