Short poetry - 8/07 Depths

Hi there,finally I came up with something that isn't
It's a mix of Willow's thoughts from when she first met Tara, then the time of Willow's denial, 'Hush' and 'Who are you?' if it doesn't fit it all then just me






Today I met the love of my life
She came to me
And said nothing
She just looked straight into my soul
And smiled
She called out for me
But I didn't answer
I just stood there
And looked at her
She took my hand
And it gave me sparks
I watched amazed
While her power entered me
Then silence
And the deafening sounds
Of our joined souls

Here's one and it isn't sad!!!! I don't know if it's Willow or Tara though, but I think it can go both ways
it's from before they get together


When she looks at me
She makes me feel so small
And meaningless
But also
I feel so special
For being able
To look at her beauty

Hi there
thank gals you're always so good to me!!
Here's one very angsty and I don't know why I wrote it it just came out
{and I don't even like it that much, but who am I to judge? }
Obviously is Willow in a major crisis


How can just someone be
Both my curse and my salvation
How can I see clearly
When all I see it's her
And she lights my way
But she blinds me
I can't go on
She was here
And then she took all of it
Away from me
I still can feel her
But she just blocks me out
Why
When did I fail her
Was it when
I didn't see her tear
Or was it
When I saw it
And decided to do nothing
It'll never come a day
I won't think of her
And there will be
Never a day
I will deserve her

HAPPLY EVER AFTER

Once upon a time
I was told about a world
Where everyone lived happly
Ever after
Later I found out
It was a lie
There were many other worlds
Of course
There were many people happy
Of course
But the only world
I could live happly in
Was you
How could they lie to me?
Why tell a child
There is such a world
If once older
I discovered that
The happly ever after world
Was you
No way to escape
Just lies to survive
They talk about
The happly ever after world
Not knowing that
It's you

ok I'll admit it I'm kinda on the depress-y wagon
this one ends up..not really good, but I hope you'll like it
it's about love and such, by Willow to Tara {obviously}



It was inside me
And you made it blossom
Like a bud born into the asphalt
You took it without asking
And I gave it to you unwillingly
You came by and made me smile
I kept you inside me
wanting you to be mine
But you flew away
Bringing with you my soul

To stop me
To chain me to the ground

Brought by the tide
Wounded by motionless wind

I feel those thunderbolts racking through my body
I hear those heartbeats shattering my chest

Hey lil Jay,
Real glad to have fallen upon this thread tonight. I hadn’t known you penned poems also. Your simple thoughts and metaphorical imageries on Willow and Tara’s love have their separate effects and throughout the course of my reading, what struck me the most was the lack of phoniness. It’s your thoughts and I am happy to be reading them.

As for the last poem, these are my favourite lines from it:

‘’Wounded by motionless wind’’
‘’I feel those thunderbolts racking through my body’’

Imagery through the use of the natural elements - I love that...it attaches more depth to the emotional meaning behind it.

this is a looong way before Entropy as you will see. fresh wounds, but warm love.

I'm staring out of the window
I'm not used to your warmth anymore
Even my tears are cold
They mingle with the rain

And they will fall down
And will be absorbed by the Earth
From where I know
They will reach you
Following a path already sculpted
You will bring them to your lips
And I will know
That I'm not deaming
'Cos you're turning away from me
Disappearing in the rain

This one is shortly after Entropy, mostly doubst, a lot of fears, but hey, that's life.




I would look at the empty space beside me
And I would imagine that it was you
Filling that cold emptiness
Instead of unknown drops of dread
They felt like fire on my skin
I was panicking inside
Fearing that I would lose
Who wasn't mine anymore
But knowing that I would
Be hers forever
This rush of emotions
Follows me everywhere I go
Leads me to dark places
But I look at her
I'm clawing my way back to her
Is it even worth it?
Is all I have enough

I have been focusing specifically on ilusions, delusions and the mirror... There is something much more profound behind these shattered pieces and your poem does indirectly convey that hope remains ^^ Hugs for Tara.
