let's talk about something else I need help a guy robbed my mother's business partner of a check, which he used. this guy has been her friend for 16 years, and Mary has taken all this very bad, but she went to the police. there an officer recognized him as a long-time criminal or such, and on Monday he's going to the office to 'understand what's going on' {little sonofabitch}. thing is, he did the same martial art as me, and I am so NOT gonna leave my mother, her partner {which is my friend as much as hers and my gf there with that man. but since he's like three times me, I was wondering if I should go there with...ya know...my knives. I've learned to use them, but I'm not sure that I should, above all if after the police comes to get him. they don't need any license, still....but again, I'm not going to let him anywhere near them without some kind of protection. help?

OMG Jay, let the police do their job, and under no circumstances should you be thinking of bringing knives anywhere.

Real life is dangerous enough without helping it along. I'm not sure of the laws in Italy, but I would imagine the police would take a very dim veiw of carrying weapons, and you may find yourself in a hell of a lot of trouble just for that, nevermind the consequences if things got out of hand.

I appreciate the feelings of protectiveness you have toward friends and family, but seriously consider what could happen here.

Yes I totally agree with you PtS, it was just my untrusting side taking over. ya know, here police isn't that faith-inducing, still, it's their job. but, I'm going, since I'd be pacing back and forth in front of the phone or the door if I don't. plus I have to fix a shelf there so I have to be there. kittens cross fingers coz this one is really mad

Hello Jay,

I find that today's happenings are calling for some toughening up. Freaking is understandable. You will get the chance to confront him eventually since his absence is an obvious justification of the wrong committed. For the time being, I hope you are allowing the police force to get to him first.
