Well, no so much a practical joke, but it was embarrassing (and sorry ktv, I know you hate it when people aren't "on point" . . . but it's in the interest of reviving this thread!). As part of my initiation onto the varsity volleyball team, I had to push a quarter across the floor of the main entrance of our school screaming, "Beep beep I'm a jeep!" repeatedly. Yeah.

Absolutely anywhere, lol. I'm a deep thinker, and dreamer, lol.
But the two main places I think and/or dream would be in bed or when I'm on the bus going to and from work.

For me that would be owning the roofing business when I did. And if you saw all 5'3 of me you'd understand why. Good thing I was muscular back then.

Do you remember what you dreamed about last night? And if not, what was one of your daydreams today?

I can't remember all of the dream but I do remember that in my dream I had a tattoo done that extended on my exsistant tattoo. It was beautiful! It was cherry blossums and butterflies swirling around swirls of pink mist. It went from the top of my right wrist all the way up my arm, aroud my right breast and curved around my stomach and then flowed down my left leg and ended at my ancle. I remember in my dream looking at it in my mirror and thinking how beautiful it was. I want it now!!!! Although I think it would be rather painful!!

If you can remember, what was the 1st CD you ever bought?

Yes-
2 floors, a HUGE garage for all my favorite projects to expand all over, black ceramic tile roof, lots of aged wood, a honeysuckle plant for the hummingbirds climbing the side yard fence, a raised veggie garden with too much zucchini, south facing windows...

Oh, and it would all be on the lot that parent's house currently occupies (location, location, location).

I'll answer both questions because they obviously answered mine at the same time.

1. The Game of Love by Sheba. Weren't for that there would be no me at this board.

2. Definitely that disease of the heart where its been proven you can actually die of a broken heart. I don't remember the name I just thought it was cool that broken hearts can actually be deadly without suicide.

What is your favorite breed of dog?

That's a tough one, I've had many dogs in my time, but I think the most loyal and tuned in dog I ever had was my golden lab, she was beautiful. When I get my own house the dog I'll get will be a lab, maybe a chocolate one this time...

You should know that neither of my parents really made that much of an impact. And you also know the answer would be Addie. Though to be honest, there is a top 3 because thinking about it I really don't know the total answer. Addie taught me how to love, Dae taught me how to stop being so afraid...and Erika...she taught me how to really exist with someone else and not be so closed about myself. So, top 3.

Do you have one person you have never met that has changed your life?

I think Thea Beckman, a Dutch (unfortunately deceased) writer.
I read almost all of her books, many of then contained strong, smart, independant women and even more contained a very detailed and acurate range of facts and scenery about the time and place the stories were set in.
I think her work made me smart and strong and has allowed me to get away from things. I used to love reading, I could read by the age of 5 and finished the school library by 3th grade and had to get books from the library downtown to read.

Especially loved the trilogy that started with "Kinderen van moeder aarde" and the books "Hasse Simonsdochter" and "Saartje Tadema" if you get the chance to read (a translation of) them you definitely should :)

The best thing school ever taught me was to sing, not just how to do it well but to do it without fear or shame. Choir taught me taught me to stand up in front of 4 dozen people on stage by myself and sing my heart out.

Most significant day of my life yet...wow when you ask a question you really ask it. I had to think about this, really think. People who know me are going to expect me to say they days I met either Addie or Erika...but no. I think....I think its the day I realized I wanted to be a writer. The day I first put pen to paper with the intention of doing that for the rest of my life. I still remember that day. It was the day I freed myself.

Is there a moment, not a day or anything, but one single tiny moment in your life where you realized with perfect clarity what you wanted out of it and what happened?

It was January 12th 2007 to be exact. Probably the best day of my life, even though I was sitting in a hospital... Why? Well, after two years of being completely blind, depression and despair, I went into surgery. So that morning the docs removed the bandage and I just sat there, staring at my hands. I mean, I could actually see my hands for the first time in two freaking years!!! It felt like eternity to me, though it must have been only a few moments. I realized then and there, that I wanted to be...well, just alive! Live life and just cherish every moment of being alive and able to see the world's beauty!
So, I sit here two years later and life is not always easy, but we should never take anything for granted. Does that make sense?

If you could make ONE wish, what would it be?

Forgot to add a question on that one, so I'll answer the same question and then pose a new one.

1. For Erika to be happy.
2. For my friends to get what they want and need and be happy.
3. To go to heaven when I die.

You have exactly one year, 52 weeks, to live. What are all the things you will do in the year before you die?
