Just read yesterday, for work reason Amber and adam will only be attending on the 16th. Sorry for those who can only go on the 18th and were looking forward meeting the loverly Amber Benson (and handsome in jujubooks Adam Busch ). However, the movie is very good and if you are still curious, go and see it!

The movie is definitely worth watching. Adam said that Jonathan Woodward will be there on Saturday though for everyone who is going on Saturday. And the place was kinda difficult to find if anybody needs directions

I totally agree with Laragh, I have the Tara figures you can get in the shops, New Moon Rising, Hush and Together Forever double pack with Willow but I would love to get my hands on an autographed Triangle figure. They should make some 'Under Your Spell' double packs too with Willow and Tara wearing their Disney Princess dresses from OMWF, now that would be awesomely cool

Ever the one to tell it like it is straight up, Amber's modesty and humility are qualities which are sorely lacking in most of those phony celebrities the mainstream media would have us believe are objects of admiration.

I don't know if any of you are aware of The Hellmouth Podcast or not, but they recently interviewed Amber. The interview is about 13 minutes long and they cover her books as well as Buffy. It's a nice interview and she is as genuine and wonderful as always:)

You can find The Hellmouth Podcast on iTunes, it's free and pretty good. If you don't have access to iTunes you can stream it free through their website www.hellmouthpodcast.com There is also an iPhone app as well. They are recapping every episode of Buffy and interviewing the actors intermittently. I believe they are up to S3 EP13 The Zeppo. I'm waiting, somewhat impatiently, for them to get to Hush!

A great interview. It's always nice to hear Amber!

James Marsters makes a surprise appearance (he innocently blundered in, not realizing they were doing a podcast interview). He was positively effusive with praise for Amber as a director (Chance). In turn, Amber gave him massive props for being a professional actor (apparently he can skim through a script and know not only his lines, but three other cast members as well.)

She did praise BtVS and the role of Tara as giving her the financial ability to pursue her dreams and make a living at it.

Abbie has been giving us excellent, in depth interviews with Amber for many, many years so this is a “must read” for sure. AMONG THE GHOSTS is one of my favorites of all Amber’s books. It may be for a very young audience, but all ages will enjoy the adventures of Noh and her ghostly encounters at the New Newbridge Academy. The same school Calliope Reaper-Jones (DEATH’S DAUGHTER herself) attended. Sina Grace’s illustrations are beautifully drawn and add a rich layer to the story. Good gosh there’s a lotta ants! Interesting that as you flip through the pages, you can track their path. Well thought out layout for the ant illustrations. And there's a ton of other drawings included.. It’s awesome. I would love to see Noh’s adventures continue in a series. Fingers crossed..

She talks about Drones; her writing; Comic-Con; being on Buffy; Tara's character; how Buffy ended; Buffy fans (there's an awesome Comic-Con story ); her worst audition; being so heavily involved in the Sci-Fi/Fantasy genre; non-acting work she's done; being on an on-location set with a broken foot during a role and how she got around; interaction on Twitter/Facebook; about how she's glad she never brought Tara back as evil; why she thinks Joss went about Tara's death the way he did; advice she's gotten as an actor; her very first acting gig; working on sets and her life as an actor in general.

Also, she says the word 'boobies'. Twice.


I thought that was a really awesome interview.

As if I didn't already, but I'm pretty sure I fell even more in love with Amber.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go see if my legs work again, 'cause they turned to jelly every time she laughed.

She sounded really good on this interview. Confident without ever coming across as cocky and with genuine passion for her work and life in general.

Two things above all struck me most. The unashamed warmth she has for her fans, and for people in general. The other was her inherent sense of fair play.

I will never agree with her defence of Joss over his actions on season sux but I get why she defends him and at least she has stated that she feels the story should ahve went a different way.

But I have always admired AMber and she does seem someone you would most certainly want as a friend or girlfriend. In fact, i think she'd make a decent boss as she definitely seems to value loyalty and good work and not treat everyone like shit.

So has my respect grown? No but my respect was very high anyway but it has underlines and accentuated all the reasons i hold Amber in such high regard.

It was a wonderful interview and Amber was magnificent and sounded great. Loved the behind-the-scenes look at Drones -- made me want to see this movie even more.

I found myself getting angry -- not at Amber, but on her behalf -- when she was talking about how hard it was getting work as an actor, except in small indie films. She mentioned that she actually lost her insurance (presumably the coverage through SAG) last year, and only got it back because of the Grey's Anatomy episode she did. It makes me mad that so many of these bimbo starlets are getting work and Amber has to scramble for crumbs! (She says that her writing is what's keeping her head above water these days...)

This guy is posting a vlog every day of his life for the year of 2011 and Amber popped up in this one! It's really not anything and...well, it'd pretty damn random actually lol but I thought I'd share!

I really enjoyed this interview. I've heard tons with Amber and they aren't usually as lengthy or there's all this background noise, or people are popping in and out, etc. This one was very professional, one on one, and the questions were solid, relevant questions.

Amber always interviews well because she is so genuine. I think that you are hard pressed to find that in Hollywood and that's why she truly stands out.

There were a couple things that stood out for me:

-The story she told of the woman proposing to her made me laugh. Gay or straight, to have a total stranger propose marriage to you...what else can you say except, no?

-The fact that she can't find work and lost her health insurance, I found to be absurd. I totally agree with CaptMurdock, about the 'being angry on her behalf.' With all the TV channels and original programming out there, one would think that someone, somewhere would see her talent and hire her. Plus she comes with a pretty solid fan base that would watch her if all she did was cluck like a chicken, lol.
