Not receiving emails?

Hi!

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I noticed I haven't been receiving email notifications from the kb like I normally do for topics I'm watching or new private messages for the past couple of days...has anyone else been having this problem or is just my own email account?

Yes, there is a problem. I am not sure what it is, the notifications I am getting is that I am sending out more than 250 messages an hour and that I am getting blocked by my server. I am working on this issue.

I am trying something new, using gmail for the emails. I am not sure what their limits are, but we'll see how it works out. Let me know if you notice it's not working again.

I am still looking into why my server is being fussy all of a sudden.

Sorry about this. I've had a long week and of course, I wasn't receiving email notifications either.

I am going to temporarily fix this and look into the bigger problem again, grr.

I wasn't but after cleaning out my inbox, a bunch of pms were released. Probably would have got notification if the inbox wasn't too full to handle the group of pms. However, I received notice from a few others with notification issues so it sounds like something more is going on here. I'll get in touch with Xita.

Update: Found the issue. Looking to fix.
Without getting to esoteric, our smtp provider have changed how to access them, blocking all emails since the 11th or 12th.
Expect this up in 24 hours (I'm leaving wiggle room)

Waiting to get a port opened up, then we will be good.
